Compliments for Valentines!

A few weeks ago, each student was asked to write down a compliment about every student in the class. I compiled all of those compliments together to make a super Valentine.

How fun to read all the anonymous compliments!

Happy Valentine's Day!

6F1 celebrated Valentine's Day today with...

**Valentine math

**Writing mini French stories with French conversation hearts

**Team Challenge: trying to figure out the meaning of French expressions that use the word 'coeur' (heart)

French Poetry!

In Francais, we have been working on reading poems and critically thinking about them by giving our opinions and making connections.

Each student has now chosen a short French poem to memorize.

As a class, we decided that the poem should be evaluated on Memorization (knowing all the words, speaking fluidly without long pauses) and Presentation (speed, expression, eye contact).

Poem presentations will be Wednesday, February 7th.
